| RFID technology has been around for awhile and is mostly used in animals and large pallets of merchandised that is tracked. The actual RFID is small, about the size of a rice kernel. Some can actually use the electricity the all humans generate (very small, but enough) in the muscle and other internal parts of our bodies to power them. I read where the back of the hand and the forehead and side of the forehead is the most suitable location. The study was based on where the best connection to the internal electricity and where the least exposure to damage would be done. As we know from Revelation 13:16-17 that most will "receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark." On of the root definitions of the word "mark" used here comes from the emblem or symbol the signified a women was married to a certain family. It was usually worn around the neck by a female that married into a family. Thus this "Mark" could be an item to signify allegiance. One possible scenario is the rise in identity theft. I don't believe that the Government is going to order the mark, I believe that regular business practices will. Just like its getting harder to cash a check (fewer and fewer stores are accepting), some businesses will encourage or require the mark in order to positively identify you. It will be more secure. Eventually it will end up mandatory. Right now the spread between profit and ID theft losses for the credit companies and stores is still in the black. When ID theft rises to a level where the credit card companies truly start losing money, they will start looking for a way of positive ID. The PIN number solution is quickly proving very venerable. Optical scan, fingerprints, facial recognition and RFID are by far the most proposed and popular ideas. Businesses, probably the big grocery store nearby, will be the first and eventually you will not be able to buy or sell without it. Sound familar. Therefore I think business will drive this and RFID scanners would be as cheap as current bar scanners and very reliable. Interesting that sin (ID theft) will bring in the mark. Just some thoughts |

It says: Page 1014 (1)(B)(ii) "a class II device that is implantable" Approved by the FDA , a class II implantable device is a "implantable radiofrequency transponder system (RFID) for patient identification and health information" Page 1015 (C)(iii)'other postmarket surveillance activities of the Secretary authorized by this chapter" Page 17 (B) "the term 'data' refers to information respecting a device described in Paragraph (1)" (A)(i)"other unique device identifier" Right now its just for those on public health care option on the bill, but it will be all of us at some point I bet.
